Join friends of the Galveston Symphony for an intimate chamber music recital performed in the elegant ballroom of Galveston's historic Moody Mansion.

First Prize winner of the Naumburg International piano competition at Carnegie Hall, Anton Nel, has performed as soloist with US orchestras that include the Cleveland, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Seattle and Detroit symphonies. Overseas, he has appeared at Wigmore Hall, London, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Suntory Hall, Tokyo as well as major venues in China, Korea and South Africa.

Mr.Nel holds the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Endowed Chair at the University of Texas at Austin and is also visiting professor at the Manhattan School of Music, New York.
